Resolution 50cm, Extra wide swath

The Jilin-1KF01A (EarthScanner1) and B (EarthScanner2) satellites were successfully launched on January 15, 2020 and July 3, 2021 from the Taiyuan launch center in China. These satellites have the particularity of having a very wide swath (135 km for Jilin-1KF01A and 150 km for Jilin-1KF01B). EarthScanner 2 has the capacity to acquire up to 2 million square kilometers per day and Earthscanner-1 nearly 1.2 million square kilometers. EarthScanner-2 can acquire up to 40,000 square kilometers in a single pass, a capability unique in the world. These 2 satellites have been specially designed for very high resolution mapping over large areas. The constellation meets a multiple thematic demand in many fields, from defense, infrastructure planning and surface to disaster management.
